European Championship LSTC Lostallo

LSTC Euros in Lostallo, Switzerland

Following the excitement of the off-road Euros, our journey continued to the renowned track in Lostallo, Switzerland. With our prior experience at this venue, we came well-prepared, starting with a strong baseline setup for the MCD Duox.

During practice runs, the track quickly developed a significant amount of grip, but even under these high-grip conditions, the car performed flawlessly. All mcd Drivers found a good set up and a good rhythm for the track!

In the qualifying rounds, all MCD Drivers showcased impressive speed. Meanwhile, Dario, Sven and Tom faced tougher battles. Dario end up in the semi Final, Sven and Tom starting in the quarter-finals, but skillfully bumping up into the semi-finals. In the semis, they some thrilling duels on the track, but ultimately, it was not enough for Sven and Tom to advance further.

The main final started with the leader quickly pulling away, creating a substantial gap early on. The race seemed set until the last four minutes when the unexpected happened. Several drivers, including the leader, began to struggle with fuel. As the leader had to slow down, Dario seized the opportunity, pushing his car to its limits and closing the gap to just 3 seconds.

In the end, Dario Veseli and the MCD Duox clinched an impressive 2nd place, earning them the title of Vice European Champion!

We would like to thank all MCD drivers from France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland who participated in the 2024 Large Scale On-Road European Championship. They all displayed terrific performance.
